Pulse Pilot vs Helium 10 Ads (Adtomic)

Helium 10 Ads, formerly Adtomic, is the PPC tool inside Helium 10's research and listing suite. Pulse Pilot is Amazon PPC software only, at a flat price. If you're weighing the two, the big questions are what the 2% fee adds up to and how much control the rules give you.

We make Pulse Pilot, so we're not neutral. We've tried to be fair: facts about the other tool come from its own pages wherever possible, the sources are listed at the bottom, and this page says where it's the better pick. Prices and features change, so check theirs before you buy. Spot something out of date? Email support@pulsepilotppc.com and we'll fix it.

The short version

Choose Helium 10 Ads if
  • You already pay for Helium 10's research and listing tools
  • You sell in many countries, or on Walmart
  • You want bids tied to Helium 10's keyword rank data
Choose Pulse Pilot if
  • You want PPC software without a percentage of your ad spend
  • You want a lookback on each condition and SKC harvesting
  • You want hourly data, not a nightly run

What Pulse Pilot's Amazon PPC software does that Helium 10 Ads doesn't

No percentage of your ad spend
Helium 10 charges 2% of all ad spend in profiles set to Managed, including spend the tool didn't touch, on top of the Diamond plan [3]. Pulse Pilot is $199 a month.
A different lookback on every condition
"Expensive in the last 7 days" AND "enough clicks in the last 60" in one rule, each condition with its own date range and its own exclusion window. Helium 10's bid rules use one lookback for performance metrics; only its rank conditions get their own window [11][7].
Harvest winners straight into their own single-keyword campaign
When a search proves itself, Pulse Pilot can move it into its own SKC automatically, so it gets its own bid and budget. Helium 10's keyword-harvest rules add new keywords to ad groups you choose [12].
OR conditions
Pulse Pilot rules combine conditions with AND or OR. Helium 10's rule criteria must all be met [13].

Custom Amazon PPC rule building

Most Amazon PPC rule builders give a rule one date range. Pulse Pilot gives every condition its own. That matters, because the questions you actually ask run on different clocks:

Pulse Pilot Amazon PPC rule builder: IF ACoS is over 25% with a 7-day lookback AND clicks are over 40 with a 60-day lookback, each condition excluding today
One rule in Pulse Pilot: ACoS over 25% in the last 7 days, AND more than 40 clicks in the last 60 days.

In plain words: it's been expensive lately, and it's had enough clicks overall to judge it fairly. One rule, two clocks. Each condition also has its own exclusion, so it can skip the recent days Amazon is still filling in.

Helium 10 Ads pricing vs Pulse Pilot pricing

$5,000$199$379 (Diamond $279 + 2% = $100)

$25,000$199$779 (Diamond $279 + 2% = $500)

Helium 10 Ads needs the Diamond plan or higher: $279/mo billed yearly or $359/mo billed monthly, plus a 2% fee on ad spend [1][2]. The 2% applies to all spend in each profile set to Managed, including spend the tool didn't touch, with no minimum [3]. Monthly billing adds $80 to each row.

Where Helium 10 Ads is the better pick

  • A full seller suite. Keyword research, listing tools and rank tracking live in the same login. If you already use those, PPC in the same place is convenient [1].
  • More countries. 21 Amazon marketplaces, plus Walmart [6][10].
  • Bids tied to keyword rank. Rules can move bids based on organic or sponsored rank from Keyword Tracker [7].
  • Room for a team. Diamond includes 10 seller accounts and 5 extra user logins [1].

Where Pulse Pilot is also the better pick

  • A lower bill. At $10K of spend, Helium 10 Ads costs $479/mo billed yearly; at $25K, $779/mo [1][3]. Pulse Pilot is $199 at both.
  • Hourly data, not nightly. Helium 10 Ads updates its data every 24 hours and runs automation nightly; hourly data is shown mainly for dayparting schedules. New keyword and negative suggestions take 7–10 days to appear [4][8][15].
  • The reason, not just the source. Helium 10's change log shows which rule, schedule or AI made a change [5]. Pulse Pilot logs the reason for each change.

How each one sets your Amazon ad bids

Helium 10 Ads offers both. You can build bid, harvest and negative rules that run as suggestions or automatically, with an adjustable target ACoS [8]. Or you can use AI Advertising, a set-and-forget mode for Sponsored Products: you give it a budget, an ACoS goal and up to 10 seed keywords, and to edit its campaigns you switch AI Control off first [9][14].

Pulse Pilot gives you two equal ways to run your ads. On Pilot, you build the rules yourself, with a lookback and an exclusion window on each condition, AND/OR logic, and a test run that shows what a rule would change before it touches a live bid. On Autopilot, Pulse Pilot builds and runs the campaign structure toward your goal, hands-off, including harvesting winning searches into their own single-keyword campaigns. Either way, the AI never sets a bid. Every change comes from readable rules and is logged with the reason. Click-count rules, dayparting and budget pacing run every hour on Amazon's hourly data.

Helium 10 Ads alternative: common questions

Is Pulse Pilot a good Adtomic alternative?

If you mainly need PPC and want deeper rules, Autopilot and a flat price instead of Diamond plus 2% of ad spend, yes. If you rely on Helium 10's research tools and international coverage, staying in Helium 10 can make sense.

How much does Helium 10 Ads cost?

As of Nov 4, 2026, it needs the Diamond plan or higher ($279/mo billed yearly, $359/mo monthly) plus 2% of ad spend in managed profiles [1][3].

Is Adtomic included in the Platinum plan?

No. In April 2026 Helium 10 announced it was removing Helium 10 Ads from Platinum at each subscriber's next renewal. Full access is now on Diamond and above [2][17].
