Pulse Pilot vs Teikametrics
Teikametrics and Pulse Pilot are both Amazon PPC software that run on hourly Amazon ads data. The differences are in who controls the bids, whether you can write your own rules and see why bids changed, and what happens to the price once your ad spend passes $10K.
We make Pulse Pilot, so we're not neutral. We've tried to be fair: facts about the other tool come from its own pages wherever possible, the sources are listed at the bottom, and this page says where it's the better pick. Prices and features change, so check theirs before you buy. Spot something out of date? Email support@pulsepilotppc.com and we'll fix it.
The short version
- You spend under $10K a month on ads and want the lowest price
- You want hands-off AI bidding and don't want to write rules
- You also sell on Walmart or TikTok Shop
- Your ad spend is over $10K a month, or soon will be
- You want to write your own bid rules
- You want to see why every bid changed
What Pulse Pilot's Amazon PPC software does that Teikametrics doesn't
Custom Amazon PPC rule building
Most Amazon PPC rule builders give a rule one date range. Pulse Pilot gives every condition its own. That matters, because the questions you actually ask run on different clocks:

In plain words: it's been expensive lately, and it's had enough clicks overall to judge it fairly. One rule, two clocks. Each condition also has its own exclusion, so it can skip the recent days Amazon is still filling in.
| Pulse Pilot | Teikametrics | |

| AND / OR conditions | Yes, AND and OR | Not stated in its docs |

Where Teikametrics is the better pick
- Cheaper under $10K of spend. $149/mo billed yearly is $50 less than Pulse Pilot [1].
- More channels. Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop in one place [3]. DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud on its higher plans [1].
- More than ads. Listing, inventory and refund-recovery tools are part of the suite [3].
- Hourly bidding. Like Pulse Pilot, it updates bids every hour from Amazon's streaming data [6].
Where Pulse Pilot is also the better pick
- No jump at $10K. Above $10K, Teikametrics moves to custom pricing plus 3% of spend over $10K [1]. Pulse Pilot stays $199 at any spend.
- Billing that stops when you cancel. Teikametrics' billing article (Sep 2025) says the 3% fee on spend over $10K keeps applying after you cancel, until you contact support to remove your connected accounts [2].
How each one sets your Amazon ad bids
Teikametrics is AI-led. You set a goal, an ACoS limit and minimum and maximum bids, and its bidder re-evaluates bids every hour using conversion forecasts, seasonality and day of week [6][7]. You can add filters for adding and negating keywords, and build your own dayparting schedule [8][9].
Pulse Pilot gives you two equal ways to run your ads. On Pilot, you build the rules yourself, with a lookback and an exclusion window on each condition, AND/OR logic, and a test run that shows what a rule would change before it touches a live bid. On Autopilot, Pulse Pilot builds and runs the campaign structure toward your goal, hands-off, including harvesting winning searches into their own single-keyword campaigns. Either way, the AI never sets a bid. Every change comes from readable rules and is logged with the reason. Click-count rules, dayparting and budget pacing run every hour on Amazon's hourly data.
Teikametrics alternative: common questions
Is Pulse Pilot a good Teikametrics alternative?
If your ad spend is over $10K a month, or you want to write your own rules and see why bids change, yes. Under $10K, if you want hands-off AI and the lowest price, Teikametrics is cheaper.
How much does Teikametrics cost?
As of Nov 4, 2026, $149/mo billed yearly or $179/mo monthly up to $10K of ad spend. Above that, custom pricing plus 3% of spend over $10K [1].
Can you build your own rules in Teikametrics?
Its help center describes keyword filters for adding and negating keywords and a dayparting scheduler; bids themselves are set by its AI within limits you choose [7][8][9].
