Campaigns
The Campaigns page is the Pilot list of every campaign in the account, with its settings and its numbers for the chosen date range, and the place to change a campaign's state, budget, bidding and placement settings one row at a time or in bulk. Words such as ACoS, placement and bidding strategy are explained in the Amazon advertising glossary; Pulse Pilot's own words, such as Autopilot and Copilot, are on Pulse Pilot Vocabulary. New campaigns are built in the Campaign Creator.
Open Performance → Campaigns. Each editable control below is marked Required, Optional or Preselected. Required means the value is checked before it is saved.
Date range
The date bar at the top sets the range every number on the page is summed over. Presets: Today, Yesterday, 2d, 3d, 7d, 14d, 30d, 60d, 90d and All Time, or a custom start and end date. Preselected (30d); the page remembers your last choice. With Today selected, the ACoS, ROAS, CPA and CVR cells carry a dagger and are marked provisional, because Amazon revises attributed sales after the day closes.
Filters
The filter card can be collapsed with the chevron in its corner.
Search. Optional. One or more rules, each a mode and a value; every rule must match the campaign name. Modes: Text (contains, starts with, ends with, equals, does not contain), Word (has word, has any of, has all of, has none of, comma-separated), Length (word count or character count with a comparison) and Advanced (regex, fuzzy match). The + adds a rule; the × removes one.
Portfolio. Optional. One portfolio, or "Select a Portfolio" for all.
Campaign. Optional. A multi-select of campaign names with a search box, Select All and Clear. Empty means no filter.
Campaign Tag. Optional. A multi-select of tags from the Campaign Tags page; a row must carry every selected tag.
Campaign Type. Preselected (all four). SP - Manual, SP - Auto, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display.
Campaign Status. Preselected (Enabled and Paused). Enabled, Paused, Archived.
Managed. Optional. Autopilot and/or Copilot; keeps only campaigns under that management. While the management list is still loading the table shows no rows and a note saying so.
Rule. Preselected (All). All, Has a rule, No rule assigned. "Has a rule" means at least one automation rule applies to the campaign, directly, through a tag, or through a rule's campaign list, and is not excluded for it.
KPI Filters. Optional. Min and Max boxes for Impressions, Clicks, CTR, Spend, Orders, Sales, CPC, ACoS, ROAS, CPA and Daily Budget. Blank means unbounded. For ACoS, ROAS, CPC and CTR, setting either bound drops rows that have no value; for CPA, a Min drops them and a Max keeps them.
Clear. Resets the KPI boxes, statuses, types, campaign, portfolio, tag and rule filters. It does not clear the Search rules or the Managed filter.
Table Export. Downloads the filtered, sorted rows as a CSV with the campaign settings and the range's numbers. Bulk Edit and Bulk Upload are described under Bulk actions.
Columns
Columns (N) opens the column picker: a chip per column to show or hide, plus the advanced group. Campaign Name cannot be hidden. Drag a header to reorder; drag its edge to resize. The table options control switches the vertical and horizontal grid lines, the crosshair highlight and its colour, and the zoom.
The columns: Campaign (name, badges and chips), Type (SP Auto, SP Manual, SB, SD), Status, Budget, Bidding, Created (the start date), then Spend, Sales, ACoS, TACoS · ASIN, ROAS, CPA, Clicks, Impr, CPC, Orders, CTR and CVR for the range, the four targets Tgt ACoS, Tgt ROAS, Tgt CVR and Tgt CPA, the three placement modifiers TOS%, PP% and ROS%, and the three placement impression shares. The targets and modifiers form the advanced group, which collapses to a single + tile and expands on click; the picker lets you change which columns belong to the group. The impression-share columns and the targets are hidden until you show them.
TACoS · ASIN is worked out per advertised listing, not per campaign row: ad charge against the listing's total sales, ads and organic, from Amazon's seller economics. The header's ? explains it; campaigns that share a listing share the number, and the card in the KPI strip is the deduplicated total, not a sum of rows.
Four columns sit at the right end and cannot be hidden: Monthly Budget, Claude Controlled, Rules and Tags.
The table shows 200 rows per page; the footer offers 100, 200 or 500.
Sort
Click a header to sort by that column; click again to flip the direction. A column you have not sorted before starts descending. Preselected (Campaign name, ascending). The collapsed advanced-group tile does not sort; clicking it expands the group.
Per-row actions
Name. Click the name to open the campaign's detail page. The pencil opens an inline edit; Enter or ✓ saves, Esc or ✗ cancels. Required, a non-empty name different from the current one. The name is written to Amazon at once.
Chips. Small letters next to the name open a filtered page in a new tab: K keywords, S search terms, P product targets, N negatives, and for SD campaigns T targets.
Quick view ↗. Opens the campaign drawer without leaving the list (see below).
Status icon. Toggles between enabled and paused. It never archives; archiving is a bulk action.
Budget. Click the value to edit. Required, a number of at least 1.
Bidding. For SP campaigns, a dropdown of Dynamic - Down Only, Dynamic - Up & Down and Fixed Bid. For SB campaigns, Auto or Manual. SD campaigns show the value read-only.
Tgt ACoS, Tgt ROAS, Tgt CVR, Tgt CPA. Optional. Click to set a target on the campaign; ACoS and CVR are entered as percentages. A blank clears the target. Saved in the app at once; nothing is sent to Amazon.
TOS%, PP%, ROS%. Optional. Click to edit a placement modifier, a whole number from 0 to 900. SB campaigns show N/A for Product Pages.
Monthly Budget. Optional. Click "Set budget" or the value; blur or Enter saves. A blank or a value below 1 removes it. This is the Budget Pacing figure, saved in the app.
Claude Controlled. Read-only. ON or OFF for Copilot, with Shadow or the goal label.
Rules. Chips for every rule that applies. + Rule or ✎ opens Assign Rules: a searchable list where clicking a rule assigns or unassigns it directly.
Tags. + tag opens the tag editor: type a new tag, or click a pool chip to add or remove it.
The quick-view drawer
Daily or Hourly figures for the campaign over its own date range, with a CSV download and a KPI strip; the campaign's tags; Assigned Rules with + Add Rule and an On/Off toggle per rule that excludes or re-enables the rule for this campaign only; and Bid Change History, the rule actions recorded on the campaign. On a Copilot campaign a rule's toggle is locked and shows an Autopilot chip.
Bulk actions
The header checkbox selects every row on the sorted list; row checkboxes select individually. With a selection the bar shows Bulk Actions (N), Enable, Pause, Archive and Run Rules; with exactly one row selected, Copy Campaign.
Enable / Pause. Queues a state change for each selected campaign.
Archive. Asks "Archive N campaign(s)?", then queues the change. Archived campaigns cannot be restored.
Run Rules. Asks to confirm, then starts a run of every active automation rule.
Bulk Actions. A two-step window. Step 1 lists the fields, each with a checkbox: Status; Daily Budget with a mode (Set to $, Increase by %, Decrease by %, Increase by $, Decrease by $) and a value; Bidding Strategy; the three Bid Multipliers, 0 to 900; Start Date and End Date; Campaign Tag with Add tag or Remove tag. Required, at least one field ticked; a ticked field with a blank value is skipped. Step 2 lists what will be applied and Apply to N Campaigns queues it. A decrease is floored at $1.
Copy Campaign. Queues a new campaign with the same settings and no keywords. Required, a name; prefilled with the source name and "(Copy)". Edit in Creator opens the Campaign Creator prefilled instead.
Bulk Edit (filter card). Pick campaigns by search, tag or Select All and Export a spreadsheet. Edit it and use Upload Edited File or Bulk Upload: rows with an Amazon ID update bids; rows with a blank Amazon ID create keywords, targets or negatives. The result lists the counts and any errors.
Good to know
- Most edits are queued, not instant. State, budget, bidding, placement and the bulk window go into a queue that Pulse Pilot sends to Amazon. The row updates at once; if the change is refused or fails, a message appears within seconds and the row reverts. The drawer's Bid Change History records the ones that went through.
- Run Rules runs everything. The selection does not narrow it: every active rule in the account runs, on every campaign it applies to.
- The Autopilot warning covers three edits. Editing the daily budget, assigning a rule from Assign Rules, or adding a rule in the drawer on an Autopilot campaign shows "This campaign is run by Campaign Autopilot — changes here will be overridden" and lets you proceed or cancel. State, bidding, placements, targets, tags and bulk actions on the same campaign do not warn.
- Live writes off. When the account's live writes are off, a queued change comes back with a message that it was blocked by the safety write-gate and nothing was sent; a bulk upload reports how many creates were not applied.
- Clear does not clear the search. Remove search rules with their × instead.
Pulse Pilot automates your Amazon advertising — bids, dayparting, search-term harvesting, and budgets — and shows you the receipt for every dollar it moves.
