Placement Performance

Placement Performance is the Pilot report of how each campaign's spend, ACoS and conversion split across Amazon's placements, Top of Search, Product Pages and Rest of Search, for the chosen date range, and the place to change many campaigns' placement modifiers at once. Words such as placement, ACoS and CVR are explained in the Amazon advertising glossary; Pulse Pilot's own words are on Pulse Pilot Vocabulary. Single campaigns are edited on the Campaigns page.

Open Performance → Placement Performance. Each editable control below is marked Required, Optional or Preselected.

Date range

The date bar sets the range: Today, Yesterday, 2d, 3d, 7d, 14d, 30d, 60d, 90d, All Time, or a custom start and end. Preselected (7d); remembered between visits.

Summary cards

Four cards, Top of Search, Product Pages, Rest of Search and Off Amazon, each with Spend, ACoS and CVR summed over every campaign in the range. The cards ignore the filters below.

Filters

Search. Optional. Rules with a mode and a value, matched against the campaign name; same modes as the Campaigns page.

Campaign. Optional. A multi-select of the account's campaigns; empty means no filter.

Campaign Tag. Optional. A multi-select from the Campaign Tags page; a row passes with any selected tag.

Managed. Optional. Autopilot and/or Copilot. While the management list loads the table shows no rows and a note.

KPI Filters — SP placement data only. Optional; the section collapses with its chevron. Min and Max for Spend, ACoS and CVR at each of Top of Search, Product Pages, Rest of Search and Total, twelve pairs. A row with no value for a bounded metric is dropped.

Clear. Resets Search, the KPI boxes, Campaign and Campaign Tag. It leaves Managed and the date range as they are.

Export CSV. Downloads every filtered row, beyond the on-screen cap, with the campaign's status and, for each placement and the total, Spend, Sales, ACoS and CVR.

Columns

One row per campaign; the columns are fixed. Checkbox; Campaign, hover for the full name; then Spend, ACoS and CVR for TOS, PP and ROS, and Total Spend, Total ACoS and Total CVR. A dash is a value with nothing to divide by. Off Amazon spend is inside the totals but has no column of its own. Campaigns with no spend, clicks or sales in the range are left out. The table options control switches grid lines, the crosshair and the zoom.

The table shows the first 500 rows of the sorted list; a footer says so when more exist.

Sort

Click a column's chevron. The same column flips direction; a new column starts descending. Preselected (Total Spend, descending).

Bulk Edit Placement Multipliers

The header checkbox selects every visible row; row checkboxes select one. Bulk Edit Placement Multipliers opens a four-step window.

Step 1. For each of Top of Search, Product Pages and Rest of Search: an operation, Set to, Increase by or Decrease by, and a value. Optional per placement; a blank skips that placement. A value is a whole number from 0 to 900; anything else shows "0–900 only". Preview › is disabled until at least one valid value is entered.

Step 2. A preview table, one row per selected campaign in the range, showing each filled placement as current → new, or "(skip)" when nothing changes, with a warning mark on decreases. The footer counts the campaigns that will change. Apply N campaign(s) is disabled when nothing changes.

Step 3. A progress bar while the changes are sent.

Step 4. "All updates succeeded" or "Updates complete with errors", with counts and any error per campaign. Done closes the window and clears the selection when there were no errors.

Good to know

  1. Apply queues the change; it does not confirm Amazon. Step 4 reports that each change was accepted into Pulse Pilot's bid queue. Pulse Pilot sends it to Amazon shortly after; this page does not show that result. If the account's live writes are off for a campaign, the change is accepted here and never sent, with no message.
  2. A blank placement keeps its current value. Only the placements you fill are changed.
  3. No managed-campaign warning. Campaigns under Autopilot or Copilot can be selected and edited here without a prompt; the Managed filter is the only sign of management.
  4. The summary cards are not filtered. They total every campaign in the range, so they do not change when you filter the table.
  5. Sales are in the export, not the table. The CSV carries Sales per placement; the table shows Spend, ACoS and CVR.
