WORKS IN BOTH MODES

Promoted one search term to exact-match targeting yesterday, and made one budget adjustment. Ads are carrying 19.6% of the sales they generate against your 25% goal, and 7.2% of this product's total revenue — organic included — so the ad spend isn't propping up the whole product. Daily pace is running under budget; nothing here needs your attention before the next review.
Discovery spend over the last month produced seventeen promotions out of the source lane and no exits from research yet — the pipeline is maturing, not leaking. Research keywords need more time to earn the exit gates, and the lanes stay profitable on existing terms.
What it does
Ads and organic, one number
TACoS measures ad spend against all of your sales, ads and organic together — the number ACoS can't show you.
Compared with the window before
Every TACoS figure carries its change against the equal-length window before it, so you can see the direction, not just today's number.
The figures behind it, on demand
Open the card and it shows the two numbers the TACoS value is built from, and the window they cover.
How it works in each mode
In Autopilot
TACoS sits in the Overview rail beside spend, sales and ACoS, so the whole account reads in one place while Autopilot is driving.
In Pilot
TACoS is one of the Dashboard's KPI cards — drag it where you want it, and set the date range the whole board reads from.
Questions
What's the difference between ACoS and TACoS?
ACoS compares ad spend with the sales those ads are credited for. TACoS compares the same spend with everything you sold, organic included — so it tells you whether advertising is lifting the whole business or just moving sales around.
Where does the sales data come from?
From your Amazon seller account, with your permission, through Amazon's own authorization.
Can I see TACoS for one product?
Yes — TACoS is shown per product, per day, as well as across the account.
